My Dad always said, "do something you love, something that makes you happy"..and so, here I am!

​

Hi. I’m Natalie, an athletic, fashion- loving, font-obsessed graphic designer and illustrator from the Mitten State. I have a passion for creating great looking graphic tees for retail, resort and collegiate markets.
 

Thanks to my Mom (also an artist) I grew up surrounded by constant creative activities. From finger painting with pudding to cooking homemade Polish food, to growing pumpkins in our very own garden and frequenting Barbie collector shows, there was never a dull moment. I also was very active in team sports and played volleyball, softball and tennis. Engaging in these activities helped shape my creative side while also learning the importance of being a team player and striving for excellence.

It was after graduating with a BFA from the University of Michigan's School of Art and Design in 2002, when I got my start in the screen print industry. I began working as a screen printer at Great Arrow Graphics, a greeting card company specializing in hand printed silkscreened cards. I designed a few cards while working there and eventually they were chosen for their line. They were my first published pieces and I couldn't have been more happy.

Now having experience in screen printing I moved on to receive my first graphic designer position at Perrin Resortwear and have since worked and designed for various companies with in the decorated apparel industry.

I worked for RMR Designs as Creative Director and Designer for almost 14 years,  and now work remotely out of my home office as a freelance designer and illustrator. 

​

I am blessed to have found a career that highlights my strengths and its something I enjoy doing daily. I have been successful in the industry because I am a good listener, driven and  have a pulse for what people will wear and buy.  I am professional, creative, personable, able to take direction and have fun doing what I do along the way!

I love the small town city life of Grand Rapids, MI, trying new restaurants, Michigan summers, playing tennis, weightlifting, and spending time with my husband, friends and family.
